Don't forget to bring your sketchbook as well as your painting supplies. If we have time, we still may have time to paint, but be sure to bring sketchbooks as a alternate. Also bring Art Center Student ID for discount.
It's going to be around $5 for entrance fee with discount.
They should accept Credit Card but it will be good idea to bring cash.

Hey class,

Welcome to digital landscape with Mike Humphries for the spring 2012 term. I will be your TA, Chris Kim. My cell number is 626 848 8694 if anyone ever gets lost or doesn't know where the class is meeting. I will try to post the next location for each class as soon as possible, or if there are any sudden changes.

This is week 12 and the term is coming to an end...

1. This week will be our last trip to the L.A. Arboretum. Please meet us there at 9AM (pertains to both classes).
2. Keep in mind that 4 paintings and 70 pages of sketches are due.

Descanso Garden Again for Wk 7

so Mike says it's OK to attend Ann's meeting tomorrow at 1pm if you choose to, but please arrive at the Descanso Gardens promptly after the meeting! It's not a far drive from Art Center either :) So we'll see you all there! and don't forget, NO LARGE SITTING CHAIRS are allowed!

We'll probably be in the rose garden area! But if you can't find us, please call my cell at 626 823 2012. do NOT text me, just call and I'll come out and bring you to where the class is.

Descanso Garden Wk6!

Hi class,

Remember we will be meeting in the Descanso Garden next week! New location! Do not forget, and show up at the Arboretum again. noon at the Descanso Garden and please wait inside! Pass the cafe/ sitting/ gift shop area, through the inner gates to the right, where there is a circular area with a tree and some benches.

Remember not to bring any large sitting chairs! Descanso Garden isn't as accommodating as the Arboretum. Rolly wheels, like the ones Mike has are fine, but no large foldable chairs! Or they may threaten to kick us out!

Landscape Final Requirements

* complete a CD with your 4 best landscape paintings/ you may include additional paintings if you wish

* all files MUST be JPEG format @ 300 dpi. NO other formats will be accepted.

* ALL CD's must be in a sleeve or protective cover with your name and digital landscape - summer 2010

* label your CD with:
YOUR NAME, DIGITAL LANDSCAPE, SUMMER 2010, and E-MAIL

*present to instructor as Final Project

*your SKETCHBOOK will be reviewed as part of your final project.
