Week 8

This week we will continue painting at Descanso Gardens.  Next week (week 9) we will be back in the lab, so do your best to have plenty to work on in Photoshop.

Remember to bring your student I.D. for admission to Descanso (6.00).   Here are the demo's from the Monday and Friday classes.

WEEK 5

This week (week 5), both classes will meet in the computer labs.  Monday class will meet in Lab # 139, and Friday's class will meet in Lab # 145.  Please meet at the usual time, 9:30 am..
Please remember to bring ALL original artwork, as well as value studies and photo reference.

Week 4

Here is Mondays Demo..

This week we will remain at the LA Arboretum.  Hopefully, it will be a little cooler! 
Next week, (week 5) will be our first lab session for both the Monday and Friday classes.  Do your best to have 2 paintings that you can work on during next weeks lab sessions.

Remember to bring your lunch or snacks!

WEEK 9

We will meet at the Arboretum this week.   Be sure to bring two boards;  1 for the value study and 1 for your color study.

WEEK 8 LAB

Let's meet in the LAB tomorrow.  It will be a very hot day, so I think it best to make it a lab day.  Please bring ALL of your paintings to class.  You can start with whatever painting you like.  Please be sure to have your REFERENCE PHOTOS!! ....... also,

Remember to stop by the main south campus building to pick-up a pen.  You must have your student I.D.  Above is last weeks gouache demo....

WEEK 6

Tomorrow we will meet at Descanso Gardens, La Canada.  The Arboretum is going to be very crowded and hot, so I think Descanso will be a better choice.  The entrance fee is $6.00 with student I.D., so please remember to bring your I.D.  

Please meet at the umbrella tables just inside the entrance on your left.

WEEK 5

Hi everyone;  tomorrow is our first LAB session,  and we will meet in the same lab we met for the first class meeting.  You must check-out a pen at the south campus main building basement.  Be sure you have your student ID. 
Also, please bring ALL of your work to date, and be sure to have your reference photos as well.

Please get your pen and be in the lab by 9:30 ...
